Fotini Leventakou

Fotini Leventakou works as a Senior Coordinator of Reference & Instruction Services at the John S. Bailey Library of The American College of Greece. Her duties include reference and library instruction tasks as well as the design and implementation of promotional strategies that aim at familiarizing the college community with the library and its activities. She holds a BA in Psychology and Sociology and an MA in Strategic Communication and Public Relations from The American College of Greece. She has also pursued studies in translation at the Center for Applied Linguistics and Language Studies of the Hellenic American Union and has obtained a Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists (London, UK). She has worked as a freelance translator for five years and has translated seven books. She has attended seminars and webinars related to translation, information literacy and library instruction.
