I received my MA in Applied Linguistics and EFL from the university of York, UK and a Ph.D. in Educational Assessment from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Morocco. I currently teach at Al AKhawayn University in Ifrane, where I serve as an Assistant Professor of critical thinking and foundations of academic success. My primary goal is to empower high school students transitioning to liberal arts college to become lifelong learners by enhancing their study skills, information literacy, and critical thinking abilities. I also have extensive experience teaching and coordinating EFL programs. Overall, my primary aim as an educator is to cultivate engaging learning environments where students actively participate in the construction of their own knowledge through constant collaboration, experimentation, and reflection.

Interests: My specific research interests focus on the impact of teaching and assessment on students’ learning, cognitive and constructivist learning theories, inclusive teaching, and innovative pedagogies in higher education
