Lori Townsend

Lori Townsend is an Assistant Professor and the Learning Services Coordinator for the University Libraries at the University of New Mexico. She holds a BA in history from the University of New Mexico and an MLIS from San Jose State University. She and co-authors Korey Brunetti & Amy Hofer won the 2013 ACRL Ilene F. Rockman Instruction Publication of the Year Award for their portal: Libraries and the Academy article “Threshold Concepts and Information Literacy.” She is currently working on a book with co-authors Amy Hofer & Silvia Lu about transforming information literacy instruction with threshold concepts.
