Meriem Sahli

Meriem Sahli earned her M.A. in language teaching at Lancaster University, England; and a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah in Fes, Morocco. Meriem teaches Arabic Literature and Arabic for native and non-native speakers of Arabic. Her research interests lie in the fields of the digitization and translation of oral Arabic and Amazigh narratives, the use of technology in Arabic teaching and learning, Arabic curriculum development, and Arabic language assessment. She is an ACTFL-certified Oral Proficiency Interview tester, and is recently the primary project leader of a digital oral history project “Digitizing Oral Literatures in a Global World: Towards Cross-Cultural Understanding”.
