I am an educator at heart, and I love working with students of different ages (teen-agers and adults). My teaching philosophy is to teach with empathy, to respect and acknowledge each student, to empower them and motivate them inside and outside of the classroom. And of course, to have fun while teaching, and make sure students have fun also! I have taught many different courses including Communications Skills, Composition Writing, Creative Writing, Literature, and Public Speaking, just to name a few. I have worked with and trained more than 30 students to Public Speaking Competitions (national and international ones). The thing is: I love winning. So, my students also pick that up, and together we conquer the world. Not really… but five of my students have won the Lebanese National Public Speaking Competition (organized by the English Speaking Union). One of my students, Moataz el Esrawi, won the International Public Speaking Competition in 2010. That’s when we got to meet Prince Philip. I have also conducted/facilitated many workshops, including: Public Speaking, Netiquette, E-mail/CV/Cover letter writing. I am an editor and an aspiring writer. I have been writing since I was three, when I was assigned to be Snow White’s real Mom in a school play, but only recently did I start sharing my writing with people. I am currently working on my memoir. I am still enjoying teaching Oral Communication/ English/ Literature courses at the Lebanese American University.
