Sophia Essahmed

I am an Entrepreneurship Instructor, currently enrolled for a doctorate at the School of Business & Entrepreneurship. As an educationalist and human resource practitioner, I driven by a strong will towards development, especially inclusive growth focused on underserved communities, and gender education for prosperity.

As the founder of The Sophia Essahmed Foundation, a platform for sustainable solutions to socio-economic challenges in Nigeria, I have demonstrated my ability to drive positive change.

With over fifteen years of involvement in community-based development initiatives, I have gained valuable insights into the unique needs and aspirations of our citizens. I and my team have focused on girl child education, out-of-school children, and children with special needs, especially as it relates to sensitive issues in cultural and religious contexts.
