Balancing pros and cons of AI for teaching: A hands-on workshop with NotebookLM
The AMICAL Information Literacy Initiatives Committee (ILIC) is happy to announce our next workshop, “Balancing pros and cons of AI for teaching: A hands-on workshop with NotebookLM.”
In this workshop, we will look at Google NotebookLM and explore both the benefits and the challenges of incorporating it into your teaching. Attendees will discover practical ways to transform their existing course materials (syllabi, readings, lecture notes) into interactive learning resources.
If you plan to attend, please respond to a short survey to help us tailor the workshop content to better suit your needs and experience.
This session will complement previous discussions organized by the ILIC on AI by showcasing a specific AI tool in a concrete instructional setting.
Who should attend? Teaching librarians and faculty.
Speaker: Stavros P. Hadjisolomou, Associate Professor of Psychology, Associate Dean for Accreditation and Assessment at the American University of Kuwait.
The event will be held on Zoom (see our online event guidelines) and recorded. If you register for the event, you will be emailed a link to the recording.
