Medical Doctor in Psychiatry with a postgraduate training in Psychotherapy. My terminal scientific degree is also in Psychiatry. My research interests include cultural aspects of PTSD, unexplained neurological symptoms, cognitive neurosciences, trauma-focused CBT, anthropological psychology and psychiatry.
While working in AUCA, I was included in the first group of specialists, exploring on-line platform for education. I was also invited to serve as an expert for implementation of telemedicine in the Kyrgyz Republic, and was able to analyse both advantages and disadvantages of long-distance counselling.
This time Ekaterina Kombarova and myself are presenting the results of long-term analyses of effectiveness of the long-distance education. We are very much looking forward to sharing both our enthusiasm and concerns.
