Titia van der Werf

Titia van der Werf coordinates and extends OCLC Research activities throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She has special responsibilities for interactions with OCLC Research Library Partners in these regions. Titia is a well-known manager in the library and archive sector and a leader in the strategic application of information technology in academic institutions. She initiated and executed many innovation programmes at the different organisations where she held leadership positions: the International Institute of Social History in Amsterdam, the African Studies Centre in Leiden and the National Library of the Netherlands. Titia studied history and informatics at the University of Groningen.
