Archives in colleges and universities

The aim of the group is to initiate a discussion about academic archives among the members of the AMICAL institutions, and enhance the “visibility” of archival operations and practices within the AMICAL community. Attendees of all groups: librarians, technologists and faculty, are expected to gain a focused knowledge of the problems and challenges of this specific type of archives which often find “shelter” in Academic Libraries, and are invited to exchange their experiences and ideas about the management of archival material in their home institutions.
