I am Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of English Language and Literature. I am a specialist in nineteenth century literature and am currently writing a book on Charles Dickens and Frederick Douglass. As a department, we are developing the WROME Project, a digital humanities project highlighting eighteenth and nineteenth century writers in Italy, which we hope will become a valuable research resource for students and scholars.
Interests: Literature courses from Anglo-saxon to Modernism, Victorian novel, Charles Dickens and Frederick Douglass, Foreign writers on Italy, digital humanities.
