Guiding AMICAL’s consortial activities and cultivating member communities
Digital Liberal Arts Programs Committee
The Digital Liberal Arts Committee develops and administers consortial programs and resources that support the Digital Liberal Arts (DLA) at member institutions. Our definition of DLA includes teaching or research methods whose digital nature enables new forms of learning or scholarship that reflects or enhances the liberal arts curricular environment. We support this through professional development events, peer networking that builds on existing expertise across the consortium, and where feasible the sharing of infrastructure for digital projects. Wherever possible, we try to support DLA in ways that encourage collaboration among faculty, librarians and academic technologists.
