Information Literacy Initiatives Committee
The Information Literacy Initiatives Committee (ILIC) sees information literacy as having an essential role in the digital liberal arts curriculum. Information literacy has been and is one of the traditional hallmarks of liberal arts education. We believe that with the digital transformations, information literacy (skills, knowledge, attitude) continues to be important along with digital literacy to start and maintain digital projects and to develop digital scholarship. The ILIC strongly seeks to find synergies between digital and information literacy initiatives and communities.
