How to attend

Application is open to Library Directors or those carrying library assessment roles at AMICAL institutions.

Registration fees will be waived for all participants; the cost of the workshop itself will be covered by AMICAL and AU Kuwait.

Approximately 10 AMICAL participants (outside of AUK) will be eligible for AMICAL funding as follows:

• Registration fee (waived)
• Basic travel expenses (economy airfare - the more reasonable this amount, the more likely you are to get funded)
• Hotel accommodation for three nights from 25 to 27 January
• Two-days lunch and coffee breaks

Participants who wish to request financial support for travel and accommodations may do so when applying. Financial support will be awarded based on your answers to the questions on the application form and the availability of funds. All costs not mentioned above, including visas, meals not scheduled as part of the workshop, ground transportation at your point of departure, and incidental costs, will be the responsibility of participants or their institutions.

There will also be space for around 5 self-funded AMICAL participants.

To apply, fill in the application form before December 12. We will notify applicants of their acceptance by December 16.
