Accommodation

Conference participants will be hosted at the Ibis Kuwait Salmiyah Hotel. AMICAL fund will cover the nights of 25, 26, and 27 January.

Visa

Passport holders of about 70 countries can obtain visit visa upon arrival to Kuwait International Airport. Nationals of other countries need to arrange for visa before arrival, through the host institution. Applicants requiring visa will be asked to send passport copy upon notification of acceptance. An invitation letter will be provided whenever necessary.

Transportation

The best way to get to Salmiyah from the Kuwait International Airport is by taxi. Airport taxi service is available 24/7. It will cost about 8 KD = 23 EUR per ride.

Electricity: 240 volts AC, 50Hz, single phase. UK-type flat three-pin plugs are used.

Weekend: Friday and Saturday

Currency: Kuwaiti Dinar (KD). ATMs and Banks are everywhere and all major credit cards are accepted.
