Visa information
Most participants arriving in Morocco will not require a visa for stays shorter than 90 days.
Check if you need a visa
A list of countries exempted from an entry visa can be found here.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also offers the Acces-Maroc website to determine whether someone needs a visa to enter the country. The site is available in French, Arabic, and English. For “Purpose of trip”, select “Conference”.
For those requiring an entry visa (or pre-entry authorization)
Participants should follow the guides provided on the Access-Maroc website. After you confirm that you need a visa on the Access-Maroc website, you can in most cases apply for one on the e-visa portal on the same website. Though do note in some case you may be asked to apply at your consulate or embassy instead.
Even if the application does not specifically request one, all participants applying for a visa should request a letter of invitation from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane to support their visa application.
If prompted for your address during the conference, please use this address:
Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane
PO BOX 104, Hassan II Avenue
Ifrane, Morocco 53000
If prompted for an AUI contact, please use:
