Program
Update: The call for proposals is over and all sessions accepted into the program are now listed in the Schedule. The overview of the program below will be updated shortly.
The call for proposals invites AMICAL members to help build the AMICAL 2018 program under the following theme:
“International liberal arts in a digital era: reimagining a shared vision for libraries, technology and learning”
Proposals are encouraged to connect with at least one of the following strands of that theme:
- Information & digital literacies
- Rethinking teaching and learning
- Reimagining libraries
- Strategic use and development of technology in higher ed
- Professional/leadership development in higher ed
- Growing the AMICAL Collaboration Network
With financial support tied directly to the Call for proposals this year, nearly all attendees will be contributing in some way to the program, and AMICAL 2018 is expected to be the most participatory yet of our annual conferences.
The ultimate shape of the program will not be finalized until February when proposals have been reviewed and keynote speakers confirmed, but the outline below gives the approximate schedule that we’re aiming for:
Day | Sessions |
Thursday 3 May |

Friday 4 May |
