Registration
Registration has closed!
If you have any questions about your registration, email us at amicalconf@amicalnet.org.
There are separate forms for conference registration and for enrollment in the various workshops scheduled throughout the program. Submit these as soon as possible and no later than 8 April.
Register for the Conference
Note that in your registration form you must indicate which dates you will be attending the event. For the pre-conference day (4 May), you should only register for this date if at least one of the following applies to you:
- you expect to participate in one of the workshops listed in that day’s program
- you are the AMICAL Representative for your institution, or their proxy for this year’s Members Council meeting.
AMICAL members and invited speakers: you should also book your hotel through the registration form. If you’re eligible for hotel support, remember that this covers only the hotel nights surrounding your event participation (arrival the day before your first day of participation, departure the day after your last day of participation). See Financial support for details.
Enroll in workshops
Read the workshop descriptions carefully (they are linked in the enrollment form), noting that you’ll be be unable to attend other sessions listed for the same time in the schedule. If you are interested in a workshop, sign up as soon as possible, since space may be limited.
Questions about registration
Who should attend?
Any staff or faculty member of an AMICAL institution interested in libraries, technology and learning is encouraged to attend. AMICAL Conference attendees usually include librarians, faculty developers, disciplinary faculty, instructional technologists and designers, IT directors, and academic leadership.
This year we’ll be focusing on the future of liberal arts education in our international institutions. How does our digital era inspire partnerships between libraries, technology and learning?
The program overview, the schedule of sessions and the speaker list give you an idea of topics that will be addressed and some of the colleagues you’ll be able to interact with at this year’s conference.
What forms of financial support are available?
Thanks to support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the host institution, AMICAL offers several kinds of financial support for attendees from AMICAL member institutions.
Won’t be able to attend in person?
Plan to join us online! The keynotes, as well as other sessions, will be livestreamed. We’ll announce details about how to participate online closer to the event.
Not an AMICAL member?
A limited number of guest attendees can be accommodated, by invitation. If you have not been invited to register, contact us first, indicating how AMICAL and its mission relate to you and your institution.
